Benidorm has had a long history of being a very user friendly resort
for those with disabilities and mobility problems. The town caters well and
considers greatly the needs of such visitors in all new building plans for
hotels and restaurants etc. Most premises and all new or refurbished bars
and restaurants offer good access and disabled access bathroom facilities.

La Nucia Holiday Villa (Adapted wet room)
Detached two bedroom villa in La Nucia with easy car access and an
adapted wet room with power shower. Located on the edge of a pretty
urbanisation overlooking park land. Just 10 minutes from Albir and
Benidorm beaches. Sleeps 4 one double one twin bedroom. Satellite TV
included with all UK TV Channels and movie channels.
La Sonrisa Located in Finestrat just a few kilometers from Benidorm. Eight
adapted holiday villas / apartments which are wheelchair friendly and
suitable for any disabled person and their families including those with
severe mobility issues. Also two adapted swimming pools and 25 places for

One of the better Hotels in Benidorm for
wheelchair guests with 10 disabled guest
rooms. All areas of the hotel are easy
access and two lifts are wheelchair
modified. There is a disabled toilet
in the main lobby. Pool has a wheel in
area but no hoist.
Bathrooms are large with a wheel in two door shower. Lone guests may find
them difficult to use depending on your disability.
Benidorm center is 4kms away. Benidorm Buses (12 & 41) leave from the
Bali into Benidorm every 10 minutes until 11pm. They are drop curb vehicles
and have Wheelchair ramps and spaces. Nearest beach is at La Cala 700
metres down hill all the way. Up hill (moderate incline) coming back, hence
not a suitable area for a lone traveller. Buses also leave La Cala beach and
drop off at the Bali every 10 minutes from 8am to 11pm if the journey back is
too steep.
