Aqualandia
During the hot summers months and well into the Autumn Aqualandia is one of the most visited
attractions in Benidorm. Here you will find a whole world of water fun from gentle pools to wave pools
and high speed rides such as the big water slide.
Every year the owners of the park offer new attractions to keep the park the number one water themed
park. Aqualandia was the first water park to open in Europe and is still regarded as the best. They
use only sea water making it very environmentally friendly. The rides are designed for all ages and all
tastes so you can be assured of a great day out whatever your age.
It is recommended to put aside an entire day to visit Aqualandia especially in high season as the
queues for the most popular rides can take some time.
Apart from the entrance charges you also have to pay for the large rubber rings ( you do need them )
and for the use of the sun beds. The extra charges can make it an expensive day out for a family. You
can take your own food if you wish however there are plenty of places to eat which are not actually very
expensive compared to the usual prices in theme parks. If you decide to go to the park just in the
afternoon the entry charge is less and represents good value. Check their website for opening times
and charges.

Mundomar Marine Animal Park
Mundomar is another water park and is to be found adjacent to Aqualandia. Here you will find exotic
birds, dolphin and sea lions. Animal shows take place throughout the day at intervals and include
dolphin, bird and sea lion shows. The park also has stunning landscape gardens.
Open all year except for Christmas day and New Years day.

Terra Mitica
The biggest theme park on the Costa Blanca boasts great thrill rides such as the Phoenix and a big
dipper roller coaster. A full day is needed to enjoy all the white knuckle rides and shows on offer. The
park is themed into ancient civilisations recreating Rome, Greece, Iberia and Egypt. A firework
display take place every night before closure. You may not take in food with you!
The park is open from March until October – In March and October the park is not open every day

Terra Natura
This is the latest theme park to open in Benidorm where you will find over 1500 animals from around
the world including endangered species. The park is themed and takes you on a journey through
Europe, Asia and the Americas. After enjoying the animal exhibits you can then relax at the Terra
Natura water park.

Safari Aitana
Open all year Safari Aitana is a short drive up into the mountains where you will find big cats such as
tigers and lions plus several hundred other wild animals. A great day out and a great scenic mountain
route. You can get up close to most of the animals here. 35kms from Benidorm.
