The hotel has a new outdoor swimming pool with sun terraces and a
pool side bar. Guests may enjoy sun loungers and parasols plus quiet areas
to soak up the sun in peace.

Latest Royal Hotel Review (We did say this Hotel is great!!)

This is a smart hotel with good service. The location is excellent, just nudging the old town.
5 minutes to Levante beach and well away from the new town which is about 15 minutes stroll for
the more lively Nightlife. The food is good and the buffet constantly replenished, even if you eat
late. The guests are mainly Spanish. The bar prices are very reasonable, as is the wine in the
restaurant. The hotel was quiet when we arrived, but really filled up on the weekend and had a
lively atmosphere. Ask for a room at the front on a high floor. The hotel area is generally quiet at
night, apart from the odd late night stragglers looking for the late bars. Benidorm's areas are very
defined, all are lively enough in different ways and it probably has more 4*hotels than 2* The
Royal is spotlessly clean and the staff very helpful. The lunch and dinner menu varied every day.
I think Benidorm has reacted to the credit crunch by lowering prices, even with near parity - euro/
£ prices are reasonable. Where else would you get a Coffee & brandy in a smart restaurant on
the seafront for 1.80€ (Mature couple 36+)
