Just returned yesterday from this hotel. Booked this after reading reviews and we were not
disappointed. Found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. Hotel in a fantistic location, handy to
the beach and quiet at night. The rooms were very modern, with good sized balconly. Maid
service was excellent. We were full board and thought the food was excellent with something for
everyone. Only downfall was the pool was quite small and the entertainment was not very good
which meant we did not stay in the hotel at night. I'm sure if the management reviewed the
entertainment programme, they could increase their profits as more guests would remain in the
hotel at night. We will certainly return to this hotel again and will be recommending it to friends.

This is a great hotel location, food ,pool area, air conditioning, rooms are not huge but fine staff
very friendly waitor service around pool side if you want. entertainment for more mature people
but just across the road you will find all the entertainment you need for all ages. beach fab too all
in all 10 out of 10 will definately be returning.

This was the 1st time we have stayed at this hotel and will certainly go back again. The hotel is
well situated, the staff both at recepion and in the restaurant were very polite and helpfull. The
whole hotel was very clean. We were full board and found the food very good with something for
everyone although we thought there could be a little more of a choice for children. The
entertaiment needs to be improved. The staff were brilliant, the room had a fridge which was
ideal to keep our bottle water and other drink cool.

had fab 4 nights stay. Beautiful hotel, very very clean. Comfortable beds, fridge in room, friendly
staff, fab food, clean pool, quite a few elderly guests but better than lots of young party goers.
Good atmosphere. No noise. Trying to think of a bad point but cant. Will def be back.

stayed at hotel late april 2010 for four days good value, room good ,smallish bathroom but fine
clean small balcony with table two chairs and washing line so enough room for myself and
friend, beds comfortable, flat screen tv bbc1 and itv ,fridge, food very good full board, swimming
pool area nice never had any probs with beds, no entertainment in evenig but close enough to
main strip and beach , i would def go back to this hotel,when we was there it was mostly mature
people but that was fine

Had a very enjoyable six night break in the Hotel Calypso. The clientelle was a bit older than us
but we only wanted to chill out for a week so it did'nt bother us that much. The food was good,
lunches probably better than the evening dinners but both were still good. The two for one offers
on the drinks made for a very cheap week, two pints larger, two pernods and two bottles of coke
for €6.60, you could'nt go wrong. Hotel very clean, well kept. Rooms comfortable and beds comfy
too. Pool area very nice. Ballroom dancing every night, probably not the ideal break away for the
clubbing set but we were happy to relax and watch proceedings, apparently in one of the sister
hotels they have free dancing lessons. We will certainly be happy to return

superb hotel rooms very clean and all staff very helpfull. the restaraunt was very well run and the
food wasbrilliant with plenty of choice. we would sty at this hotel again for sure, the 2 for 1 drinks

Lovely hotel in a good location near to beach, shops and nightlife. Hotel spotlessly clean - towels
and bedlinen changed regularly. Staff were very nice, especially in the Restaurant. On the whole,
a great selection of food - altho' some nights I felt there could have been a bit more choice of
meat, potato, and veg dishes. Lots of fish dishes which suited my husband perfectly. We went
out at nights, but there was always dancing on in the hotel and it was mobbed every night!! First
time in Benidorm - it was great.

We travelled as a group of 7 ranging from 21 - 73 and we all said the same thing, a great hotel,
food was lovely staff were friendly, Hotel was very clean. The evening entertainment was ok not to
our taste but that never bothered any of us as we went out and about most evenings and found
Benidorm had plenty to offer in almost every bar you went to. Also the hotel was doing 2x1 drinks
which was very good value for money. Would definately go back.

Parents stayed here last year for 4 weeks and we decided to go there this year. Excellent food,
rooms clean and spacious and staff very helpful. Ballroom dancing every night and 2 for 1 on

lovely hotel,great location,our plane was delayed & we arrived after dinner to be informed by
monica on reception who was great that a cold meat salad would be waiting for us as we had
missed dinner considering this had nothing to do with the hotel it was a lovely touch also need to
mention the 2 for 1 drinks all day any drink which was a treat,entertainment was none existant but
we dont go to benidorm to sit in a hotel all night all in a grat stay in a great hotel.

Stayed at calypso many times. as always really good service. The food is excellent and the staff

Hi Just returned from the Calypso, Fantastic Hotel would recommend to anyone , Locatation is
central to everything . If you have an option ask for a sun facing room as the rooms at the back of
the hotel are in the shade all day. Can't fault the hotel or the staff

Lovely hotel the Calypso would stay here again. Friendly staff good food great British fried
breakfast right down to the black pudding mmm. At the moment sevigroups doing 2 for 1 drinks
n prices not to bad go and watch dangerous Brian, u only need to see him once but what a laugh,
sister act what energy, look in jail rock the western bar and valentinos and dont forget go to the
Benidorm (off tv) pub morgans tavern....

Excellent hotel. Rooms and food very good. Restaurent staff very friendly and efficient. Hotel
employees were very friendly but found the reception staff not quite so friendly. Second year at
this hotel and hope to be back next year. Have stayed in a few other of the hotels and like this one
the best.

We have regularly visited Benidorm and stayed in many types of accommodation over the years
but can honestly say that the Calypso is by far the best. The hotel is 4* plus for their complete
customer sevice and my husband who is a moaning faced git at the best of times sings it's
praises so it must be special.

This hotel is superb the staff the food the location. This hotel is centrally located for the beach
night life and the town. The staff here are cheerful and helpful. The hotel is spotlessly clean.
