Diplomatic 4 Star Hotel Levante
This is a favourite holiday hotel for couples who are looking for a well
equipped resort hotel close to both the lively entertainment center of
Benidorm, the Levante Playa and only a short stroll to the old town.
At the Diplomatic, guests can relax on one of the sun beds surrounding the
swimming pools. There is a wellness centre offering beauty and body treatments as
well as a sauna, steam bath and Jacuzzi. Overall a bright well kept hotel.
Previous guests mention the good range of cuisine in the buffet restaurant.

Usually very critical I can find something wrong with a hotel but this one was excellent. Food very
good, staff helpful, extremely clean, bright and attractive bar area/ lobby etc. Will definitely stay
there again. Very impressed!!

Food variety and quality improved and higher than average for Benidorm, but often luke warm at
best, need to dine early or face scrum when Spansish with finely honed elbows arrived, often
didn't get drinks for lunch or evening meal until after first course on one occasion, no drink at all.
Plates and cutlery could have been cleaner. Cleaners worked hard and did a good job,
unfotunately major downside was the inability to turn heating off, which in single room was
overpowering. All Public areas maintaned to good standard. I think fair rating wold be about 3.5

Excellent hotel situated a short stroll from the beach. Food first class and plenty of it. Rooms
clean, staff always on hand and friendly. The only reason I did not give it 5 is, only two lifts. On
check out day we were on the 6th floor and after 15 minutes I had to carry our luggage down 6
flights. I would definitely go back but only if my room was no more than 2nd floor. Antony

Very good range of food to suit most tastes. Restaurant staff always on hand to keep dishes
replenished. Most of the staff were formal rather than friendly but the hotel does deal with a wide
international clientele so that possibly explains their approach. Hotel was very well maintained
and the room was adequate. It did contain a fridge which was included in the room rate and a
satellite TV with three British channels. The hotel is quiet with very limited entertainment so it is
best to go out at night. It is close to Playa Levante and only a short walk to the Old Town. I would
stay there again for the range and quality of food and for its excellent position within Benidorm.
