The rating of this hotel really depends on what you want from a holiday. Let me begin with the
most important thing. La Estacion is situated above La Bus Estacion, which is what you think
it is - the bus station. If you get a bus into Benidorm then you have a 30 second walk to your
hotel which is a good thing. However, to walk into Benidorm, you will be looking at a 15-20
minute walk or so, depending on where you are going. The hotel is at least in the middle of
old and new Benidorm, so you can get to see everything Benidorm has to offer. The hotel
itself is very good. A modern building with spacious rooms and beautiful bathrooms. Being
on the 6th floor (the top) meant the view of the area was exceptional. The pool was also
lovely, although rather cold, and being on the roof of the bus station meant that the wind gave
an added chill when trying to dry out! Suprisingly though, being on top of the bus station didn't
actually add too much noise and the hotel and its surroundings were rather quiet. My stay
was at the start of September and there were suprisingly very few people around. Whether
this hotel is for you or not, only you can decide. It is clean, modern and a fine building. The
staff, the few I actually saw, were polite and helpful. The pool, though cold, was quiet and
clean. The restaurant was clean, though empty, and I never actually ate here. If you enjoy
being in a hotel and making use of it, then you will not be disappointed. The views are
incredible and there is an added bonus of a gym and sauna area..........
