The Magic Rock Gardens is a great place to stay, although the cave effect took a bit of getting
used to. There was good food and drink and plenty of it (although there was only one of the bars
open as it was out of season), great service, very friendly staff and a great place to stay. Its not far
from the beach and not too far from the action - but far enough to not be in the thick of the noise.
On the down side the transfer bus from the airport drops you at the bottom of Cardiac Hill, so if
you have children - dont do it - or get a taxi transfer. Other things that werent too great were the
rooms dont have balconies and if you want to have aircon or tv you have to pay deposits for
remotes at reception - not what you want to do if youre on a budget. Otherwise we thoroughly
enjoyed our stay at the Magic Rock and would recommend it.

Some of the previous reviews are a bit harsh. Found the hotel clean and most of the staff friendly
enough. Food was fine and you could always find something to eat just remember it is 3 star
hotel not a 5 star and you get what you paid for.Rooms are tidy and as for the hill from the beach
its not as bad as some people make out and if you are struggling you can get the free bus or a
taxi does not cost the earth.

This Thermatic Hotel offers all the amazing experience of Africa with its rocks, African chairs,
shields and spears, fountains and animal statues dotted throughout. The selection of food was
amazing with a seafood selection on an beautiful display one night and a cholcolate fountain
another night with chefs cooking specials all the time alongside a great tapas selection, salads
and hot food. Yes there is a small hill to climb but it isn't exactly Mount Everest! A gentle 100mtr
incline which myself (who has arthritis in both knees), the 71yr old grandad and my two girls
aged 7 and 9 managed absolutely fine! The hotel is so close to the beach it was fab. If the Magic
Rock Gardens wasn't enough for you, you can even go out to several other hotels in the group
situated in Benidorm and enjoy the all inclusive range there too. A free bus collects you from
outside and drops you off around the other hotels. We visited Excalibur which was designed as a
Castle with hundreds of small log cabins instead of a 20 floor hotel and the most amazing water
park adventure complete with slides and a pool bar, with loads for the kids to enjoy. All inclusive!!!
When we went out shopping we could also drop in at other hotels in the group for drinks and
snacks too. The staff were great, really friendly and the entertainment was fabulous with poolside
parrot shows and animal shows plus nighttime entertainment with discos, magic shows, dance
shows and everything you could possibly want. In all it was an absolutely astonishing fantastic
holiday and we all really enjoyed it. We will definitely be coming back to this hotel!
