Relaxing break in nice surroundings. margaret mcculloch, dumfries Group of Mature Friends/Couples 21 February 2011 Just come back from 3 days break at Mediterrano , had a great few days , hotel lovely, clean , rooms really large , staff friendly especially Terry makes a mean sangria . Food good plenty of choice all in all great stay and would definately book to stay here again Terry - Wrexham Group of Mature Friends/Couples 04 February 2011 Superb helpful & friendly staff. The hotel very clean & well presented Staff extremely good & professionaly. Entertainment was good, could have been a more varied, appeared more geared for elderly guests. Food varied every meal & was presented well. We stayed 'all-inclusive' & it was, we had no problem our stay was fun & enjoyable Jean Pearson, Ayora, Valencia Group of Mature Friends/Couples 10 January 2011 A lovely hotel with superb mountain views. The rooms were very spacious and the hotel was very clean. Staff made your stay very welcome. Just a shame that we had to buy a swimming cap for the indoor pool and then it was freezing cold, so we did not go in it. A lovely variety of food, Spanish and English. Lynn Hackney, Almoradi, Alicante Mature Couple (36+) 01 November 2010 stayed for 12 days standard room was first class, clean and maintained to a high standard.food was varied and well prepaired service could not be faulted only complaint was the entertainment which was pretty awful. lots of local pubs and tribute shows however.will return again as it is good value for money first class service john shearer, cumbernauld Mature Couple (36+) 08 October 2010 What a lovely hotel amidst the high risers. We spent the week enjoying the weather not having to chase the sun due to being blocked out or shadowed by tall buildings. The cleanest hotel in Europe that we've stayed in. Maintainence, service and friendliness were excellent. Food had good variety though if I'd been eating deserts I'd have liked more choice. We liked the table service for drinks during lunch and dinner. Also the swipe card system for drinks and did not see, hear or be bothered by anyone having had too much to drink only a few wobbles and giggles including our own. Bus stops right outside but we didn't bother its not too far to walk to the centre if you're reasonably mobile. On the down side I loathed the frosted glass (see through) on the common toilet facilities. The entertainment needs updating with a resident band 6 nights a week it got a bit repetitive. A couple of decent shows including flamenco. Daytime activities, quizzes and bingo laid on every day and staf worked hard to motivate participants. We loved the hotel and will go back again probably alternating our Benidorm stays between here and one 200 yards down the road towards town with poor sunbathing but brilliant entertainment Geoffrey Pointer, Romford Mature Couple (36+) 20 September 2010 Hotel was lovely and very clean. Pool was also immaculate and kept very clean. Food was nice - lots of choice and variety. Staff were all helpful and friendly. Location was good - although a bit far away from the main square. Evening entertainment was aimed at families with young children so not really our cup of tea but we preferred to venture out at night so was fine for us. Stephanie, Essex Family with teenagers 12+ 10 September 2010 I'm a fussy eater but always found the all inclusive good. Good location away from the crowds & right opposite the Benidorm Palace. Will be returning soon! Quite location. SH, teesside Family with Children 11 and Under 09 September 2010 Just got back from a 3 night on 07-09-10. Hotel was fantastic, we had 2 twin rooms sleeping 3 in each room. the 3rd sofa bed had a memory foam matress, which was very comfortable. There was also a 2nd identicle bed opposite which was set up as sofa so could have been used if required for a 4th person. Room was spacious and clean. Bathroom was modern. Food was excellent comprising mainly spanish meals in the main buffet area and grilled food prepared freshly on the side. Other guests were mainly spanish families and night entertainment catered for them. If this is not to your taste then would advise seeking external entertainemnet in bars in square or tapas bars and shopping in old town. Local Beer was Amstel and refreshing. Local whisky however was disgusting!! You are only allowed 1 drink at a time on production of your swipe card and are allowed a 2nd drink for a guest if you produce their swipe card to bar staff. Reception staff were not welcoming at all which is the only reason i deducted a star rating for this hotel. P Kumar, Wolverhampton Group of Mature Friends/Couples 07 September 2010 We stayed at February half term there were lots of families there but it did not spoil our week. Our room was very large with two singles and two setees that turned into beds just buy adding the bedding. our daughter is very tall and she had no problem. The only complaint about the room was the wardrobe door stuck but thats all. meals were super the waiting staff who clear up were great. we were all inclusive and there were snacks vertually all day to be had. The bar staff were great and the waiting time at the bar was minimal. we would return without question. there are bus stops right outside and benidorm palace is across the road. Clean, tidy and staff are friendly. very good value!! MR d MOORE, sandy, beds,uk Family with teenagers 12+ 21 July 2010 We stayed at the Mediterraneo for 4 nights and had a lovely stay, food was decent - the best I have had in all inclusive, not much variety but theres always something for eveybody. entertainment was good - magicians, caberet etc but i wouldnt say go to this hotel for the entertainment - your in Benidorm, plenty to do and see outside the four walls! All staff we seemed to come into contact with were all lovely and friendly. Rooms are nice clean, spacious and comfortable, cleaners come everyday change towel etc. I would recommend this hotel for families. Rachel, Bishop Auckland, Durham Family with Children 11 and Under 08 May 2010 We stayed at the hotel 28/04/10 to 7/05/10. We found the hotel reception very good and friendly. The restaurant is very clean and bright. The food was of good quality and the selection was good, but sometimes cold, especially the soups. There is however a microwave for customers to use. The bar service was excellent to the most part except for one barman who was very rude and abrupt sometimes, e.g when being passed cards back he would slam them down on the counter when you had your hand out to get them back. As others have reported the duo on most nights was very repetitious and sang out of tune, the animacion tried their best to keep people entertained. The hotel bedrooms are very clean and we had beds changed every two days and clean towels every day. The TV programmes are very poor mostly news channels. The position of the hotel is not great 15 mins to beach, no hills, but it is a quiet and low level hotel, but there is however a great bus service along the road to the centre of the old town We are going back for another visit in September and we are looking forward to it.
